HOW IT ALL BEGAN
Flashback to 2020, an uncertain and challenging time for everyone globally when we all were wondering what would happen next.
”Would our jobs remain the same? Would we have to move? Would we survive to tell stories about this global pandemic?” were questions we all faced to some degree. Where many people succumbed to the turmoil in their minds and physical circumstances around them, many seized the opportunity to alchemize their former businesses, employment, and living circumstances into a new reality.
This was a time of sink or swim.
During that time, Captain Quincy Briscoe was deep in the belly of his 32’ Catalina working on the engine, considering what his future had in store for him. That same week, he was contacted by a man inquiring if Quincy was available for hire to give him driving lessons for their newly purchased pleasure yacht. At the time, Quincy said yes, unaware of what would unfold for him from that day forward. Pleased with the driving lessons, the man asked if Quincy was available to manage the same yacht so that he could focus on other pressing matters his family was facing. This was when Quincy began to consider: “How do I make boat ownership easy and fun for any boat owner?” Over the next couple of weeks, Quincy began considering what Santa Barbara Harbor did and didn’t have service-wise. He identified a niche and decided to make action to start his own business: yacht management from top to waterline.

Over the past four years, Quincy has attracted a hard-working crew that has evolved beyond what he or anyone had imagined in such a short period. During that time, Quincy and the crew have discovered what products work best for all areas of yacht management, including all interior and exterior maintenance.
